When it comes to Darryl Wolski’s house there’s no middle ground. People either love it or they hate it.“I took a taxi home one night,and when I told him the address,the cabbie said,‘I hope you’re not going to the ugliest house in Brandon,’”one of Wolski’s two roommates, Mackenzie Demeulemeester, related with a laugh.“I said,‘Well …’and when we pulled up he said,‘Oh,I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean it!’He was apologizing allover the place.”But less-than-flattering assessments seem to be regular commentary on the house that Wolski, a player agent for the National Hockey League,had built at 101 Fraser Crescent about four years ago.Tired of standard dwellings,he decided his fourth home would be something out of the ordinary.
